Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a Limited Energy Designer in Minnesota to create and coordinate low‑voltage drawings for fire alarm, security, nurse call, and AV systems. You’ll use Revit and AutoCAD, collaborate with project teams, and participate in site visits to gather data and ensure quality.

Ideal candidates will have Autodesk drafting proficiency, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic, employee‑owned environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a two-year degree in electrical construction or design is preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical construction, installation, or design is preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk drafting software, including Revit and AutoCAD, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and coordinating limited energy drawings under guidance.
• Produce and update project drawings using Revit and AutoCAD per standards.
• Compile product data submittals and cutsheets based on project specs.
• Collaborate with project team members and attend project meetings.
• Conduct site visits for information gathering as assigned.
• Pursue training and continue education to stay up to date.
