Job summary

LHB, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electrical) to join the Energy & Industry Team in our Duluth or Minneapolis, MN offices.

You will process electrical drawings, update AutoCAD designs, and ensure compliance with client standards while collaborating with design engineers and multidisciplinary teams. The role supports a hybrid work environment with opportunities for overtime and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook).
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Process drawing redlines and update drawings in AutoCAD to create electrical designs, plans, schematics, layouts, and details.
• Ensure drawings comply with client drafting specs and standards.
• Manage drawings and interface with client document management software.
• Stay current with drafting software advancements.
• Work in a hybrid work environment and with multidisciplinary teams.
