Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Lima, Ohio seeks a Site Manager for the Offsite Maintenance and Modernization program. You will lead NEWCON fabrication work on the VCS and CLB programs, manage safety, quality, cost, and schedule, and collaborate with supplier teams.

You will build a strong team, drive continuous improvement, and report progress toward program milestones. Travel to offsite locations may be required, and you will report to the Sr Site Manager and Director of M&M.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of combined Electric Boat or manufacturing experience, including NEWCON and steel trades.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of EVMS and audit processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership and employee capabilities with succession planning.
• Achieve safety, quality, cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Manage problem-resolution and prioritize workload effectively.
• Identify and address significant problems promptly, including Level 1 issues.
• Establish and execute annual audit plans with trend analysis.
• Collaborate with site leadership to prepare for inspections and audits.
