Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee LIHTC/HUD compliance for our housing programs. The role involves audits, data-entry in compliance systems, and coordination with on-site and corporate staff.

The ideal candidate has LIHTC certification experience and a track record with HUD/Section 8 programs, with the ability to travel as needed. AMC offers a competitive compensation package and growth opportunities within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Compliance experience with LIHTC (Section 42) paperwork.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, 202 and/or 811 programs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and partners.

Responsibilities

• Work with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory compliance with housing programs.
• Travel as required by business needs.
• Perform audits and implement solutions.
• Provide administrative support including data entry into compliance systems, filing, and file maintenance.
• Process move-ins and re-certifications commissions.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agency staff on compliance and audits.
• Assist in Mass Recertifications/Re-syndication/Lease ups/Acquisitions.
• Review property mgmt software data for accuracy.
• Ensure proper LIHTC, Bond, and RDA unit balances per property.
