Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior asset manager to own a growing LIHTC portfolio in the Twin Cities region, with relocation to Minneapolis. You will lead planning, budgeting, and cross-functional meetings while reporting directly to executive leadership.

The role offers an ownership mindset and a pathway to team leadership as the portfolio scales. You will supervise financial analysts, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with capital planning to optimize lifecycle costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commercial real estate, finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for upper management.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or experience in a managerial capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own asset management plans for a growing LIHTC portfolio.
• Monitor lease-up of LIHTC properties and ensure proforma compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate site inspections and reviews with internal and third-party teams.
• Review and approve annual operating budgets delivered to project partners.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and proforma.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and present portfolio condition to leadership.
• Partner with Capital Planning on lifecycle capital plans and flag variances.
• Support responses to governmental, equity, and lending inquiries.
• Manage property insurance for the LIHTC portfolio.
