Job summary

InterSolutions, LLC is seeking an LIHTC apartment leasing consultant in Los Angeles to support multi-family properties. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, run background and credit checks, collect rent and deposits, and explain lease terms to residents to ensure a smooth move-in.

The ideal candidate has leasing or property management or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with leasing software like Yardi, Entrata, and MRI.

Qualifications

• Backgrounds in leasing, property management, customer service, sales, or hospitality.
• Tax Credit experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; exposure to social media.
• Experience with leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata Onesite, MRI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and identify housing needs.
• Assist with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and background/credit checks.
• Collect rent, security deposits, and move-in fees.
• Communicate lease terms and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with prospects who haven’t leased.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready and add finishing touches as needed.
• Implement marketing techniques to attract residents.
• Manage lease renewals and resident retention.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.
