Baker Tilly’s Development & Community Advisory team seeks a Financial Analyst to support affordable housing advisory work. You will help deliver financial advisory services to real estate clients, contributing to complex transactions and client outcomes while growing within a collaborative firm.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree is required.
• 1 year of professional experience in related field.
• LIHTC knowledge or experience preferred.
• Familiarity with LIHTC, HOME, FHLB and HUD programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support transaction structuring and financial modeling with tax credit programs and nontraditional financing.
• Assist in securing debt, equity and other financing sources for transactions.
• Support acquisitions, preservation, disposition and portfolio strategy for real estate clients.
• Assist with low-income and historic tax credits applications and analysis.
• Research industry topics, compile data and present actionable findings.
• Provide consulting support to help clients achieve strategic and financial objectives.
• Contribute to additional real estate analyses including market-rate projects and end-of-compliance assessments.
