Job summary

VFC Lightning Protection in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Trainee to install lightning protection systems on high roofs and grounding projects. You will receive extensive training, earn $22.21+ per hour, and may travel up to two weeks per month with a supportive team.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, handling cables, and staying compliant with onsite safety rules. Outdoor work, physical fitness, and a strong work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel and be away from home up to 2 weeks per month.
• 18+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a medical exam and drug test.
• Licensed driver with a clean MVR.
• Physically fit to lift up to 80 lbs and work on rooftops and ladders.
• Honest, hardworking, and a team player.
• Construction or electrical experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Installing lightning protection systems on high roofs and grounding projects.
• Reading blueprints and construction plans to ensure top-tier installations.
• Handling and installing lightning protection cables.
• Ensuring all work complies with onsite safety regulations.
• Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
• Tackling other duties as assigned.
