Job summary

Bonded Lightning Protection Systems, Ltd. in Oklahoma City seeks an Entry Level Installation Apprentice to begin an apprenticeship toward becoming a field installation technician.

You will receive hands-on training and work with the largest lightning protection contractor in the United States. You’ll learn to read blueprints, install grounding systems, and wire cables on building roofs while complying with safety standards; travel may be required and a background check is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working on ladders, lifts, high rise and pitched roofs.
• Pass a criminal background check & drug screen
• Valid Driver’s license and clear MVR
• Drug free and clear driving record at all times
• Some construction experience is a plus
• Experience operating machinery is a plus but not required
• Some travel is required but team members are kept home as much as possible
• OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus
• Ability to read and write English
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Learn reading blueprints and installation drawings during apprenticeship.
• Receive hands-on training for grounding systems and roofing cable installation.
• Develop skills to become a field installation technician with safety training.
