Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) is seeking an experienced Lighting Technician to support the Medora Musical and related events at Burning Hills Amphitheatre. You will work closely with the RWS team, assisting in installing, focusing, and maintaining lighting systems for performances.

Qualifications

• Must provide exceptional guest service.
• Able to troubleshoot and create solutions as needed.
• High School diploma required; associates or bachelor’s in lighting tech preferred.
• 1 year of experience in lighting management.
• Advanced knowledge of lighting equipment.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Master Electrician during Medora Musical performances.
• Assist with installation and focus of lighting equipment.
• Complete pre-show and post-show duties per Master Electrician & Deck Manager.
• Supervise spotlight operators during Medora Musical.
• Maintain cleanliness of lighting booths and storage areas.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Burning Hills Amphitheatre lighting system.
• Serve as in-house lighting technician for concerts at BHA.
• Advise on lighting setup at in-town venues including Old Town Hall Theater & Town Square Patio.
• Perform general technician duties at town venues as assigned.
• Follow BHA safety procedures and protocols.
• Other related duties as assigned.
