Job summary

Rogers is seeking a Lighting Technician to join our team. With over 40 years of experience in electrical construction and lighting, you will contribute to ground-up projects, perform tasks, troubleshoot, and ensure quality on retail and commercial installations.

This role requires travel, nights, weekends, overtime and abiding by safety rules. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, training, and a company truck and cell phone.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service/maintenance experience.
• 2–5 years of lighting experience.
• Understanding of lighting materials and applications.
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems.
• Exterior lighting technician experience with bucket truck.
• Ability to obtain a DOT certification.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move moderately heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the completion of various electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Electrical break and repair.
• Read blueprints, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices.
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting.
• Manage service upgrades for retail clients.
• Interact with store/facilities managers and maintenance personnel.

What you’ll be doing:

• Interact with store/facilities managers and maintenance department personnel

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years previous service/maintenance experience
• 2-5 years previous lighting experience
• Understanding of lighting material and applications
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems
• Exterior lighting technician and bucket truck experience
• Ability to obtain a DOT certification
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
• Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
