Job summary

Lonestar Lighting & Technology has an immediate opening for a Lighting Applications Specialist. You will be a key part of the Estimating Team, ensuring that Lonestar’s Multifamily projects are successfully estimated and quoted.

You will work closely with our sales team, manufacturer reps, and manufacturers to account for, estimate, and quote all materials for lighting construction projects, including photometric studies to ensure code compliance and accurate quotes.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimation or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare point-by-point photometric analyses by reviewing construction documents.
• Discuss results with customer and sales team, suggesting design or fixture changes.
• Provide lighting recommendations and technical assistance to designers.
• Review estimates and takeoffs and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Complete estimates for routine and complex Multifamily projects to meet bid deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales team and customers to gather project details.
• Gather quantity takeoffs and finalize estimates with accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings and quantities and communicate with sales.
