Job summary

Lonestar Lighting & Technology is seeking a Lighting Applications Specialist to join the Estimating Team. You will prepare photometric studies, review takeoffs, and develop accurate quotes for multifamily projects, collaborating closely with sales, manufacturers, and designers.

You will leverage Excel, Bluebeam, AGi32, Visual CAD, and AutoCAD to ensure code-compliant, detailed quotation packages. This role emphasizes precision, communication, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced estimating environment.
• Experience in estimation or related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and perform photometric analyses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare photometric analyses by reviewing documents and plans.
• Discuss results with customer and sales team to adjust design and fixtures.
• Provide lighting recommendations and technical assistance to designers.
• Review estimates and takeoffs, giving constructive feedback to team members.
• Complete estimates for Multifamily projects and maintain bid deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales team and customers to gather project details.
• Coordinate quantity takeoffs and ensure accurate quotations to clients.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and quantities across disciplines.
