Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Lighting Design Release Engineer (Lighting DRE) with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automotive exterior lighting systems. You will work with the Styling team on feasibility studies, check A-class surfaces, and target craftsmanship while designing lighting components.

You will design automotive lighting parts in CATIA V6, engage Tier-I suppliers to balance cost, mass, joining methods, and molding, and release detailed designs for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as Lighting DRE.
• Strong knowledge of automotive exterior lighting systems and key components.
• Experience with interior and exterior lighting design.
• Work with Styling team to perform feasibility studies and ensure surface quality.
• Design of automotive lighting components and perform manufacturing feasibility checks.
• Proficiency with CATIA V6 for automotive parts design.
• Collaborate with Tier-I suppliers on cost, mass, joining methods, molding, and testing.

Job description

• Good experience as a Lighting DRE (Min 2- 3 years)
• Good knowledge of Automotive exterior lighting systems along with Key components (Head Lamp, Tail Lamp, Center light panel, corner lamps)

Complete and release lighting components, sub-system and detail designs

Interpret simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design
