Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Irvine, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to automotive exterior and interior lighting design. You will collaborate with Styling on feasibility studies, verify A-class surface conditions, and help define craftsmanship targets for lighting assemblies.

You will design lighting components in CATIA V6, manage complete releases, and interpret simulation results to translate findings into robust product design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 0–3 years' automotive lighting design experience.
• Collaborate with Styling team on feasibility studies and surface checks.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Good knowledge of Automotive exterior lighting systems along with key components (Head Lamp, Tail Lamp, Center light panel, corner lamps).
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 0-3 years of experience in automotive interior and exterior lighting design.
• Work with Styling team to perform feasibility studies, check A-class surface and define craftsmanship target.
• Ability to create and completion of all lighting components and perform manufacturing feasibility.
• Design of automotive component parts in CATIA V6.
• Actively engage with Tier-I suppliers to collaborate on design projects for trading off cost, mass, joining methods, molding and testing performance.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Complete and release lighting components, sub-system and detail designs.
• Interpret simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
