Job summary

Gloucester County Institute of Technology is seeking a lighting technician for the performing arts program. You will work with the director to realize the lighting design and program the light board to execute the design for productions.

You will coordinate with other designers to maintain a cohesive design, attend production meetings, and ensure the space is safe and clean for students in relation to lighting setup.

Qualifications

• Certificated Staff qualification.
• Experience in performing arts or related lighting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with director to realize the lighting design of the production.
• Programs the light board to complete the design.
• Coordinates with other designers to ensure a cohesive design.
• Attends production meetings.
• Ensures the space is clean and safe for students as it pertains to the lighting design.
