Job summary

Career-Collective is hiring a Lighting Designer responsible for designing, documenting, and coordinating lighting systems across various projects. You will work with architects and engineers to develop energy-efficient solutions that meet design and code requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, alongside 2–8+ years of experience in lighting design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is required. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects including commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities.

Qualifications

• Typically 2–8+ years of lighting design experience (varies by level: junior, intermediate, senior).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is required.
• Experience with lighting calculation software such as AGi32, Visual, or ElumTools.

Responsibilities

• Develop lighting concepts, layouts, and specifications for projects such as commercial buildings.
• Produce lighting plans, details, and schedules using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Present lighting concepts and design solutions to clients.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field
