Job summary

Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) is seeking a Product Assurance Specialist to join our R&D team in Madison, WI. You will test the next generation of lighting control software, build real-world lighting setups, and recreate customer workflows to identify defects before release.

You will collaborate with software engineers, leveraging hands-on experience with ETC EOS consoles and other professional lighting control systems to provide actionable feedback.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics or Technical Diploma with related hands-on experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.
• Basic troubleshooting and ability to follow defined product assurance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop Product Assurance Plans for product families.
• Analyze test cases and provide progress reports.
• Validate software and hardware features with real-world lighting control systems.
• Report defects and track resolutions in the defect database.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
