Job summary

RBW is a contemporary lighting design and manufacturing studio in Kingston, NY, seeking a Project Coordinator to lead certification activities for our products across internal teams and external consultants. You will also support Product Enhancement and New Product Development projects.

You will report to the Project Manager and support the Engineering Manager, collaborating with Innovation, Operations, Finance, and Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project coordination experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience in product development or related technical project management.
• Direct experience with regulatory, compliance, or product certification workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end documentation workflow for certification submissions (conformity declarations, test reports, technical files).
• Maintain certification projects and renewals across teams and external partners.
• Coordinate in-house pre-compliance testing with Design Engineers (e.g., UL, CE).
• Manage relationships with consultants and testing partners, tracking deliverables and timelines.
• Prepare briefs, specifications, and technical documentation for consultants.
• Evaluate consultant performance and inform vendor selection.
