Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Assembly Specialist to join a premier manufacturing client in Manlius, NY. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly of lighting components, interpret technical drawings, and follow assembly instructions using hand and power tools to build high-quality products.

This weekday role offers a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. You’ll support engineering and manufacturing teams, participate in inspections and testing, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Performing complex mechanical and electrical assembly of lighting components and systems.
• Interpreting technical documentation, drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Using specialized hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and production machinery.
• Conducting in-process and final quality inspections, functional testing, and troubleshooting assembly issues.
• Supporting engineering and manufacturing teams with prototype and special-order builds, and providing feedback for process improvements.
• Assisting in training and mentoring less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions to ensure correct builds.
• Reading and following schematics and documentation for accurate assembly.
• Using hand and powered equipment to fabricate lighting components.
• Conducting in-process and final quality checks and troubleshooting.
• Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams on prototypes and process improvements.
• Training and mentoring newer team members on procedures and safety.
