The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and in the shop.

You will inspect, service, maintain, repair, and test systems, including electrical wiring harnesses and charging systems, and support driving and recovery missions as needed. Paid training and tuition assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Interest in automotive engines and how they work.

Responsabilités

• Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers and material handling equipment systems.
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness, and starting and charging systems.
• Inspect, service, maintain, repair, test, adjust and replace vehicle systems and components; perform recovery operations when needed.
