Job summary

Sound Transit is looking for a dedicated individual to maintain the cleanliness of light rail vehicles and related service areas in Tacoma, WA. Responsibilities include operating light rail vehicles, performing cleaning duties, and ensuring a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and preferably two years of experience in facility maintenance cleaning. Sound Transit offers a competitive salary range of $21.63 to $44.23 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Complete training and hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Possess forklift certification and be medically qualified to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior and exterior of light rail vehicles and facilities.
• Assist in training fellow employees and report defects to supervisors.
• Operate light rail vehicles for servicing and maintenance purposes.
