A local transit authority is seeking a skilled Light Rail Systems Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light rail vehicles in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and considerable experience with both mechanical and electrical systems. Qualifications
Four years of experience in repair and maintenance of light/heavy equipment preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and CDL class B ability.
HVAC or EPA Certification required.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair light rail vehicles and associated systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Respond to emergency situations and conduct system fault diagnosis.
