Job summary

A local transit authority is seeking a skilled Light Rail Systems Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light rail vehicles in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and considerable experience with both mechanical and electrical systems. Qualifications

• Four years of experience in repair and maintenance of light/heavy equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and CDL class B ability.
• HVAC or EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair light rail vehicles and associated systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to emergency situations and conduct system fault diagnosis.
