We are seeking motivated applicants for an Express Technician at Subaru of Auburn. We teach you to do much more than change oil and tires. Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Paid Time Off:

• 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, in accordance with state law
• Additional PTO after 36 and 120 months of service

Responsibilities:

• Test systems and components for proper operation
• Isolate and diagnose issues
• Test drive vehicles, check and refill fluids
• Ensure proper tire pressure, lubricate fittings
• Install oil drain plugs and filters, communicate oil levels
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently and accurately
• Preemptively replace worn parts
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools

Qualifications:

• Experience as a lube tech or automotive coursework from a technical school or community college
• Understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics
• Strong analytical and communication skills; eager to learn
• Ability to learn new technologies and procedures
• Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment (preferred)
• ASE Certification or technical degree (preferred)
• One year in a service department (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
