Job summary

NAES is seeking a Light Industrial Gas Turbines Manager to oversee the complete spectrum of operations for the light industrial fleet, guiding projects from planning through commissioning. You will lead engineers, technicians, and project managers, ensuring reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance while shaping budgets and vendor relationships.

You will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to deliver high-performing assets and strategic investments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in engineering, energy management or related field.
• 10 years in power generation with five in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with Solar Gas Turbines including Centaur, Taurus and Titan gas turbines and associated generators.
• Budget management and financial planning in a complex operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall strategy for light industrial gas turbine operations, including long-term capacity, reliability, repairability, technology, and infrastructure investments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of program assets.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of all technology-specific projects, ensuring optimal performance and energy production.
• Manage maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards; manage annual fleet program budgets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and project staff; foster safety culture.
