Job summary

CoVolt Power in Mexia, TX is hiring a Light Equipment Operator to assist on our construction projects. You will operate skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, perform routine maintenance, and help with loading and unloading materials at the job site.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. Candidates should be safety-minded, capable of teamwork, and willing to perform light manual labor when equipment is idle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites.
• Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Assist with manual labor tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the storage of equipment and tools.
