Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a dependable Light Equipment Operator to join our field team in Texas. You will operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, performing routine maintenance and assisting with material handling on active job sites.

The role requires strong safety awareness, physical stamina, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while collaborating with site supervisors to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety guidelines and protocols on all job sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor and lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with site staff.
• Comfort working outdoors in variable and extreme weather conditions.
• Experience with basic equipment operation is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials at job sites.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure on-time project completion.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with manual labor when equipment is not in use.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
