Job summary

RRD is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 3rd shift in our production facility in Indiana. You will operate offline binding/finishing equipment, set up machines for production runs, and maintain equipment to ensure peak performance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, coordinating crew assignments, and training new team members. The role requires familiarity with routine procedures and basic clerical tasks related to equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions.
• Ability to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment (e.g., maintain machine operating and maintenance records, write new identification labels for computer tapes, etc.), and skill to perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment.
• Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment.
• Set up and adjust machine for production runs.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure optimum operation.
• Troubleshoot issues and submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Coordinate crewmember assignments and may provide training for new team members.
