City of Victoria, TX is seeking a Light Equipment Operator under general supervision to assist street and drainage crews by operating light equipment. This role includes daily inspections, reviewing work orders, and supporting concrete work as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience with light equipment, and a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
Under general supervision, the Light Equipment Operator assists work crews constructing, maintaining, and repairing City streets and drainage systems by operating a variety of light equipment.

Work is performed outdoors and requires exposure to inclement weather conditions, potentially dangerous tools, equipment, and machinery, and hazardous chemical. May be required to traverse uneven surfaces, climb ladders, and lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma or GED equivalent AND one (1) year of experience operating light equipment; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must possess a Class B Commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement or obtain license within twelve (12) months of hire.
