Intermountain Truck and Auto Repair, located in Bend, OR, seeks an experienced diesel technician to diagnose and repair light-duty diesel pickups. The role focuses on drivability, diagnostics, and hands-on repair work Monday through Friday, with opportunities for advanced diagnostics and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive or light-duty diesel repair.
• Diagnostic and drivability skills (intermediate to advanced).
• Experience with Power Stroke, Cummins, Duramax diesel pickups.
• Must bring your own tools.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose light-duty diesel drivability using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform intermediate to advanced diagnostics on domestic diesel pickups.
• Complete diesel repairs, component removal and replacement, maintenance, and vehicle inspections.
• Service and repair Power Stroke, Cummins, and Duramax-equipped light-duty trucks.
• Perform repairs such as turbocharger and exhaust manifold/up-pipe work, transmission replacement, and related mechanical repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance, including differential, transfer case, and transmission services.
• Assist with estimates and parts ordering as needed to provide backup support in the front office.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship with a focus on completing repairs correctly the first time.
