Qualifications

• Possess a valid Driver's License and be insurable under the company's liability policy.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass DOT physical and background check.
• Overtime may be required; BUSTR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform fuel equipment removal/installation and related tasks (canopy, lighting, concrete work).
• Operate trucks, lift trucks, backhoes, and other equipment; perform basic maintenance.
• Support general maintenance and repair across petroleum project sites.
• Assist in repairing various petroleum equipment including dispensers and fuel management systems.
• Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations and fueling facilities.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and complete required paperwork on time.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards; HazWoper certification is a plus.
• Support the Service Team during construction gaps.

Job Description:

Petro-Com Corporation is looking for Light Duty Construction Technicians to provide excellent customer service in the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of all petroleum equipment. Our ideal candidate will be someone looking for a long-term opportunity, and the chance to grow within the organization. Starting wage for candidates with petroleum construction experience will be based on experience, certifications, and/or accreditations.

Qualifications

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift 8:00 am -4:00 pm
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for construction tasks and projects including fuel equipment removal/installation, spill buckets, sump repairs, fuel motor removal/installation, concrete work/installation, excavation, canopy, lighting, etc.
• Operate machinery and vehicles including trucks, trailers, lift trucks, bob cats, skid steers, backhoes, light and heavy equipment such as: hand tools, hand power tools, pumps, vacuums, and generators etc.; provide maintenance as required for equipment
• Work alongside a team to complete general maintenance and repair support tasks for all petroleum project sites
• Assist to maintain and repair various types of petroleum equipment including dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, etc.
• Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations, commercial fueling facilities and related work
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects
• Completion of work-related paperwork; time sheets, daily sheets, vehicle inspection, equipment inspections; Promptly report time, travel, and parts used to the office for billing purposes
• Comply with OSHA safety standards and perform tasks safety, OSHA or Hazwoper certified a plus
• Remain actively engaged in supporting the Service Team during gaps in specific construction
