Job summary

Kelly is hiring a Light Assembly Worker / Material Handler in Florence, KY. The role involves packing auto parts, maintaining clean work areas, and operating reach trucks to fulfill orders with RF scanning. Occasional overtime and safety-focused attendance are expected. Steel-toe or composite shoes are required.

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd. Pay rate is $17 per hour with potential temp-to-hire opportunities and access to forklift training and certifications to advance your skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse, assembly, or material handling—reach truck/PIT experience required for Material Handler duties.
• Comfort with overtime and variable shifts; steel-toe or composite shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Pack auto parts on an assembly line and ensure quality inspection.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Operate reach trucks and other PIT as needed.
• Pick orders from racks using RF scanners, by truck or on foot.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and maintain documentation.
• Maintain reliable attendance and overtime flexibility.
