The Dixon Group in Chestertown, MD is seeking a Light Assembler to join our hands-on production team. This role emphasizes accurate assembly, quality checks, and efficient data recording. Training is available for motivated candidates with a positive attitude.

We value veterans and offer a supportive local team environment. This position is based at 225 Talbot Blvd, Chestertown, with regular daytime shifts and a competitive hourly rate. Sponsorships for work in the United States are not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Comfortable working with tools, parts, and mechanical components.
• Able to perform addition and subtraction accurately to support production needs.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs. regularly during a shift.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Capable of completing repetitive motions while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Able to handle and assemble small parts and components efficiently.
• Proficient in using hand tools and basic machining equipment safely.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and report any issues or non-conformances promptly.

Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00/Hour

The Dixon Group is looking for an Light Assembler to join our team! We're looking for a reliable individual with a positive attitude and a strong mechanical aptitude to help us build top-quality products. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the quality and timely assembly of various components, utilizing small hand tools and/or production machinery. While one year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn and committed to doing precise work.
