Job summary
Total Warehouse in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Shop Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on customer and internal lift trucks and material handling equipment. You will apply mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise to keep operations safe and productive, with minimal supervision.
You will document work thoroughly, follow safety standards, mentor apprentice technicians, and coordinate with parts and service teams.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in lift truck repair or related industry.
- Valid driver’s license and safe operation of lift trucks.
- Proficient with diagnostic software and manuals.
- Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all makes of lift trucks and components.
- Perform PMs on customer and internal lift trucks.
- Engine tune-ups and timely repairs without supervision.
- Assist with training/mentoring apprentice mechanics.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Coordinate with parts to order replacement parts.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper function.
- Ensure batteries for electric forklifts are charged.
- Inspect equipment for safe operation.
- Process service calls using TW Mobile with accurate details.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
