Job summary

Kingspan Insulation in Winchester, VA is hiring for a night-shift role supporting production and packaging operations. You will help load varied trucks, operate forklifts, and ensure safe, efficient packaging and labeling throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Charge batteries and refuel propane on lift trucks as needed.
• Supply production with products, services and materials.
• Operate packaging machines, forklifts, conveyors; manage taping/labeling.
• Load trucks ( vans, flat beds, LTL, intermodal) and inspect lift equipment.
• Complete daily lift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

Essential Duties

Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a clean, safe work environment.
• Able to charge batteries and refuel propane on lift truck.
• Supplies production with products, services and materials as needed.
• Operates automatic packaging machines, forklifts, conveyors and maintains taping and labeling containers.
• Load variety of trucks such as vans, flat bed trailers, less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments and intermodal.
• Completes daily inspection on lift equipment, reports any associated maintenance problems and maintains proper fuel levels (battery or gas).

• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations and market demands.

• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar job/environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and ability.

Must Be Able To
