Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a warehouse general laborer for the 3rd shift (12 am–8 am) in Dalton, GA. You will perform pre-operational safety checks, operate equipment, unload goods, and follow RF scanning instructions to ensure accurate stock handling and order fulfillment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and basic English and math skills. Prior warehouse experience is preferred and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reads and writes in English; basic math proficiency.
• Successful completion of required on-the-job training.
• Ability to operate equipment safely as trained.
• Health and environmental safety training completed.
• Prior warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication to interact with others.
• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational safety checks and complete a vehicle inspection report before operating the equipment.
• Recharge lift truck battery or replace/refuel the gas tank.
• Unload goods from storage areas, bin locations, or trailers.
• Correctly operate the hand-held scanning device and follow instructions given by the onboard RF unit.
• Manually load/unload pad or other material not designed to be handled by forks or pole.
• Any other tasks assigned by management.
