Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR II for the B shift in Dalton, Georgia. You will move rolls from the warehouse to the Reinspect area, load rolls onto tables, and position rolls correctly in their locations as they come off the roll-up.

The role requires basic reading of letters and numbers, color recognition, and computer competency to locate rolls in the system. You will operate various lifts and may need Mohawk Lift Truck Certification after selection.

Qualifications

• Ability to read letters/numbers.
• Know colors / not color blind.
• Computer competency when locating rolls in the computer system.
• Lift truck driving aptitude and physical agility to mount/dismount lift truck multiple times daily as demonstrated in job tryout.
• Operate all types of lifts (squeeze, fork, and pole).
• If chosen for position, you will need to obtain Mohawk Lift Truck Certification (skill and information tests)

Responsibilities

• Pull rolls from warehouse to Reinspect area.
• Loading rolls onto table.
• Locate rolls coming off roll-up, back in correct location.
• Assist in picking up cores and placing in correct buggy.
• Assist in banding scrap and cores and removing to correct location
