Job summary

This role requires alertness, basic math, and a commitment to safety while supporting our manufacturing teams. Qualifications include 20/40 vision (corrected), reading letters and numbers, color discernment, and the ability to operate and train on lift trucks.

Qualifications

• 20/40 vision (corrected OK).
• Ability to read letters/numbers.
• Know colors / not color blind.
• Computer competency when locating rolls in the computer system.
• Lift truck driving aptitude and physical agility to mount/dismount lift truck multiple times daily as demonstrated in job tryout.
• Operate all types of lifts (squeeze, fork, and pole).
• If chosen for position, you will need to obtain Mohawk Lift Truck Certification (skill and information tests)

Responsibilities

• Pull rolls from warehouse to Reinspect area
• Loading rolls onto table
• Locate rolls coming off roll-up, back in correct location
• Assist in picking up cores and placing in correct buggy
• Assist in banding scrap and cores and removing to correct location
