Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Lift Truck Operator II on 2nd and 3rd shifts to support the distribution of carpet tiles. You will identify, move, and palletize materials, maintain shipping paperwork, and prepare items for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires basic data entry, simple math, the ability to read small print on screens, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. A safety-conscious, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers to perform data entry and to read and interpret instructions.
• Able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on computer screens.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs to build pallets with boxes of carpet tiles.
• Not afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Identify, retrieve, and transport materials and pallets throughout the distribution warehouse.
• Maintain paperwork to receive and track materials as required.
• Wrap and band Hard Surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
• Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
• Maintain clean and tidy workspaces.
