Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Chatsworth, GA is seeking a Lift Truck Operator II for the 1st shift to move rolls, load equipment, and maintain accurate location records in the warehouse.

You will follow standard procedures to ensure efficient material flow and safe operation. Ideal candidates read letters and numbers, recognize colors, and demonstrate lift truck aptitude with the goal of obtaining Mohawk Lift Truck Certification after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read letters/numbers.
• Color recognition; not color blind.
• Computer competency for locating rolls in the system.
• Lift truck driving aptitude with daily mounting/dismounting.
• Experience operating squeeze, fork, and pole lifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull rolls from warehouse to Reinspect area.
• Load rolls onto table.
• Locate rolls coming off roll-up and place in correct location.
• Assist in picking up cores and placing in the correct buggy.
• Assist in banding scrap and cores and removing to correct location.

• Pull rolls from warehouse to Reinspect area

• Assist in picking up cores and placing in correct buggy
• Assist in banding scrap and cores and removing to correct location

What you have:

• Ability to read letters/numbers
• Know colors / not color blind
• Computer competency when locating rolls in the computer system
• Lift truck driving aptitude and physical agility to mount/dismount lift truck multiple times daily as demonstrated in job tryout
• Operate all types of lifts (squeeze, fork, and pole)
• If chosen for position, you will need to obtain Mohawk Lift Truck Certification (skill and information tests)
