Job summary

Mohawk Industries in Thomasville, NC is seeking a reliable forklift operator to support warehouse operations. You will lift, move, and organize pallets, maintain clean floors, and follow safety protocols during all shifts.

Candidates must be certified to operate a lift truck, able to stand all day, lift 70 pounds, and pass a basic reading/writing screening. This role emphasizes teamwork and efficient, safe material handling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read & write and must be certified lift truck operator.
• Lift truck driving aptitude and physical agility to mount/dismount lift truck daily as demonstrated in job tryout
• Must be flexible & able to perform all responsibilities required to maintain housekeeping up to company expectations
• Must be highly motivated individual that will work with the team to maintain Safe, Clean and Neat facility.
• 20/40 vision (corrected OK)
• Must have the ability to spend all day on their feet walking.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds constantly throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and Handle pallets, boxes, cores, wood, pad and trash cans safely without injury to self or putting others at risk of injury.
• Clean entire warehouse, PIT, wipe down break tables and report areas left in unacceptable condition.
• Responsible for all Waste Stream and Recycling task.
• Be prepared to do any task assigned by supervision.
