Job summary

Presrite Corporation is seeking a forklift operator to maintain equipment fluids and assist forging operations on site. The role requires monitoring levels in lift trucks, reporting malfunctions, and adhering to safety forms and procedures.

You will support forge crews, tag containers, provide steel and hot boxes, and ensure the forge area remains clean and compliant with safety standards. Flexibility to work all shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift.
• Knowledge of tagging procedures.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely and correctly.
• Understanding of the importance of segregation steel grades, sizes and heat codes.
• Availability to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oil level, transmission fluid level, hydraulic fluid level, brake fluid and engine coolant level of lift truck.
• Report any malfunctions of truck to supervisor.
• Comply with all safety requirements – fill out all required forms.
• Store in a safe and orderly fashion all forgings leaving the forge area.
• Tag all containers leaving the forge area with proper identification.
• Supply forge crews with steel and hot boxes as needed.
• Remove all slugs, flashing etc. from forging operation and dispose of properly.
• Keep lift trucks inspected and Forge area clean and neat.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
