Job summary

KPRS Construction in the Little Rock area is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to operate heavy equipment and support treated cross ties, switch ties and bridge timbers. You will fuel, maintain, and inspect equipment while adhering to safety standards.

This role requires 1 year of heavy equipment experience or more, and candidates should be prepared for 2nd or 3rd shift, weekend work, and basic tablet/smartphone tasks to log checks and reports.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Experience in maintenance and safety checks.
• Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends.
• Good tablet/smartphone skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical issues.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and refuel as necessary.
• Other construction related duties as required.
