Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to manage material movement and storage using forklift equipment in Covington, GA. You will support SAP inventory processes and ensure accurate transfers while maintaining safety standards.

Lift Truck Operator

Toyota and Linde Forklift Driver

This role oversees all movement and storage of products while operating industrial trucks to load/unload materials and deliveries. The lift truck operator will also move product to and from storage areas and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, load, and/or unload materials to designated area using appropriate equipment including forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment.
• Support SAP functions as related to inventory and load management. (IE. Pick list, PGI)
• Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies, Standard work practices, truck and railcar health and safety rules, including the attendance policy.
• Perform transfers with a high degree of accuracy and accountability and in accordance with the established standard processes and procedures.
• Perform all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work not limited to but including dispatching, training, replenishments, bin maintenance/consolidation, labeling, etc.
• Effectively assist with operations on all EPS lines as assigned.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program
• Minimum of 1 years lift truck/clamp truck experience working in a fast paced logistics environment preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program

11:30pm-8:00am, Sunday-Thursday

7:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday

3:30pm-:12:00am, Monday-Friday

$18.90/hr plus Night Shift Differential
