Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Pallet Jack Operator/Lift Truck Operator in Covington, GA. The role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials, support SAP-based inventory tasks, and uphold safety and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications include a forklift certification and at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. HS diploma or equivalent is required. AM/PM shifts offer hourly pay of $17.00 and $18.50 respectively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load, and/or unload materials to designated area using forklift/equipment.
• Support SAP functions related to inventory/load management (Pick list, PGI).
• Follow safety rules, standards of conduct and plant procedures.
• Perform transfers accurately per standard processes and procedures.
• Dispatching, training, replenishments, labeling, and other duties per standard work.
• Assist EPS lines and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Pallet Jack Operator/Lift Truck Operator

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, load, and/or unload materials to designated area using appropriate equipment including forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment.
• Support SAP functions as related to inventory and load management. (IE. Pick list, PGI)
• Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies, Standard work practices, truck and railcar health and safety rules, including the attendance policy.
• Perform transfers with a high degree of accuracy and accountability and in accordance with the established standard processes and procedures.
• Perform all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work not limited to but including dispatching, training, replenishments, bin maintenance/consolidation, labeling, etc.
• Effectively assist with operations on all EPS lines as assigned.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program
• Minimum of 1 years of Pallet Jack or lift truck/clamp truck experience working in a fast paced logistics environment preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
