Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of lift station maintenance and repairs (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Driver's license in good standing and eligible for DOT-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, replacement, and repair of lift station equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
• Assist in installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and rebuild of mechanical equipment in sewerage pump stations.
• Performs diagnostic tests to determine operating efficiency and prepares reports.
• Maintenance and repair of electrical control panels.
• Responds to trouble alarms during day and after hours.
• Work in confined spaces such as manholes or wet wells.
• May be on call including nights, weekends, holidays.
