Barnhart is seeking a Project Sales Technician to provide technical support for complex lifting, rigging, and heavy transportation projects. You will work with sales, engineering, and operations to conduct site evaluations and develop lift plans that meet project requirements.

This role blends field and office work, ideal for professionals with crane, rigging, or heavy construction experience who enjoy solving technical challenges and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in crane and rigging, heavy lift, construction, or related field.
• Strong understanding of lifting and rigging principles and site safety considerations.
• Experience developing lift plans and technical project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant technical software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and project assessments to evaluate scope and site conditions.
• Develop lift plans and technical documentation to support planning and execution.
• Partner with sales, engineering, and operations to design safe lifting and transportation solutions.
• Identify potential project risks and support planning for successful execution.
• Provide technical input for project estimates, equipment selection, scheduling, and resources.
