Job summary

Sandia Peak Ski Area in New Mexico is seeking dependable Lift Operators for the upcoming ski season. You will operate lifts, assist guests with loading and unloading, and help maintain safe, smooth lift operations in a scenic mountain setting.

Training will be provided. Weekend and holiday work is required, with full-time and part-time seasonal schedules available. This role offers a chance to work outdoors and join a friendly team while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation to and from Sandia Peak Ski Area.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Able to work outdoors in cold, snow, wind, and other inclement weather.
  • Weekend and holiday availability.
  • Previous lift operations or ski-area experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and monitor assigned ski lifts.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading.
  • Monitor lift areas and communicate with supervisors and other lift operators.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines.
  • Report equipment issues, hazards, or guest concerns.

Sandia Peak Ski Area is looking for dependable, hardworking Lift Operators to join our mountain operations team for the upcoming ski season.

As a Lift Operator, you'll help safely operate our ski lifts, assist guests with loading and unloading, monitor lift operations, and provide friendly customer service while working in a beautiful mountain environment.

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate and monitor assigned ski lifts.
  • Assist guests with safe loading and unloading.
  • Monitor lift areas and communicate with supervisors and other lift operators.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines.
  • Report equipment issues, hazards, or guest concerns.
  • Keep lift areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with other mountain operations duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
