Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring full-time Warehouse Material Handlers. Essence of the role includes loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and operating warehouse equipment on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Pay is $20.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift premium on 2nd shift. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and company discounts, with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Second shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
