• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, grasp, feel, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions.
• Be prepared for and able to work a full shift in sometimes adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, ride, and unload chairlifts and conveyors according to protocols.
• Complete required daily paperwork and communicate lift needs to Lead Operator.
• Educate guests on resort policies and procedures and escalate concerns to a supervisor.
• Activity Barn duties: guide groups down snow tubes and manage lane safety at crossings.
• Maintain clean lift shacks and keep work areas organized.

Job Summary:Lift Operator is a full time/part-time seasonal winter position, in which you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests and staff while loading, riding, and unloading the chairlifts and conveyors according to all protocols. This position is located at Brundage Mountain Resort and at the Brundage Mountain Activity Barn in McCall.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Be ready to work at any position on all chair lifts or conveyors on any given day.Properly fill out the required daily paperwork.Communicate the needs of the lift to your Lead Operator, such as the need for daily lift logs, tools, and snow blower fuel.Must be able to follow directions to help keep the lift area maintained.Will help ensure the lift shacks stay clean and garbage free daily.Proper daily set up and cleanup of work areas.Know what your own body needs to stay fed, hydrated, dry, and warm.Be ready to learn and work diligently to support your team.Able to answer questions and educate guests on resort policies and proceduresEscalate guest complaints or concerns directly to a supervisor or manager.Activity Barn specific responsibilities:Send/push individuals or groups of people down tube lanes in snow tubes while ensuring guest safety.Manage and maintain the safety of the guests at lane crossings.Instruct guests on the use of snow tubes.Job Qualifications:No experience requiredMust be 16 years old or olderOther Requirements:All operators will be required to complete training in:Lift Operations operational trainingRope evacuationUnseated passenger trainingTrain in response to guest and employee incidents/accidents in the lift area or involving a lift.Be On Time.Have reliable means of getting to work.Be prepared for and able to work a full shift in sometimes adverse weather conditions.Be able to lift 50lbs, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, grasp, feel, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions.
